Horizontal Directional Drilling
Directional drilling is most often the preferred method to get (cable, pipe, conduit) from Point A to Point B when there are multiple obstacles and conditions to consider. Once the clean up crews are completed it looks like they were never there. Directional drilling is a process where the horizontal drilling machine tunnels under obstructions such as existing utilities, buildings, roadways, rivers and then pulls pipe back through the underground tunnels leaving the surface untouched.
Private Utilities Locates
Advanced Directional Drilling private utility locating service is meant to be used in conjunction with State 811 One Call services. State 811 One Call service locates utilities up to the private connection point (typically the meter). This leaves many private utility lines unmarked and creates a potential dangerous situation leading to injury or death. We use our Subsite Utiligard Utility locator to mark private utilities.
